CND - Women in choreography

FR : A l’occasion du dixième anniversaire du Concours national de la danse, le CND Luxembourg présente une programmation en deux parties au Théâtre de la Ville d’Esch-sur-Alzette. Nous aimons mettre en valeur les femmes de la danse, qui sont souvent invisibles. Les chorégraphes masculins sont surreprésentés. Mais même si le plafond de verre existe, il existe des talents chorégraphiques féminins ! Certains mènent depuis des années de brillantes carrières dans toute l’Europe et au-delà. Les 4 jeunes compagnies de danse vous feront découvrir les créations de ces chorégraphes de nationalités allemande, anglaise, française et luxembourgeoise. La première partie est la production bien connue de la Junior Compagnie CND Luxembourg « Onnanoko » de Jill Crovisier, suivie de la compagnie Christine Hassid Project « Souffles ». La deuxième partie débutera par une création de la jeune compagnie InDance Barcelona d'Harriet Macauley. Également au programme anniversaire sera la ‘’première’’ de la nouvelle création « Der Traum » présentée par la Junior Compagnie CND Luxembourg, chorégraphe Elisabeth Schilling et le compositeur Pit Dahm.

EN : In celebration of its ten-year anniversary of the ''Concours national de la danse'', CND Luxembourg present a two-part program ''Théâtre de la Ville d'Esch-sur-Alzette ". Highlighting and pushing to the forefront only female choreographers who are often invisible in a predominantly male choreographic world.

Some have had brilliant careers all over Europe and beyond for years. The 4 young dance companies will be showing you the creations of these choreographers of German, English, French and Luxembourg nationalities. The first part is the well-known production of the Junior Company CND Luxembourg ‘’Onnanoko’’ by Jill Crovisier, followed by Christine Hassid Project company ‘’Souffles’’. The second part will start with a creation by the young company InDance Barcelona by Harriet Macauley. Also, part of the anniversary program will be the premiere of the new creation ‘’Der Traum’’ presented by the Junior Company CND Luxembourg, choreographer Elisabeth Schilling, Composer Pit Dahm.
