Les frères Ben Aïm, c’est tout cela à la fois : une vingtaine de créations, vingt années de collaboration, des complicités artistiques venues de tous les horizons, et plus de 800 représentations. Le binôme présente deux solos féminins et un trio masculin, chorégraphies nerveuses et intimes, parfois proches de la transe. Premier round : Léa Lansade danse sur les compositions fantaisistes de György Ligeti. Deuxième round : Alex Blondeau, passée par les pièces de Maguy Marin et Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, déploie sa fougue dans la nuit. Troisième round, plus rugueux : trois hommes luttent contre une adversité, adoucie par la musique de Leonard Cohen.

Zwei Brüder, eine Vision: Christian und François Ben Aïm blicken auf mehr als zwanzig gemeinsame Inszenierungen zurück. In ihrem neuesten Wurf präsentiert das Choreografie-Duo drei Stücke, die das Intime mit dem Nervösen verbinden. Léa Lansade durchwandert im ersten Stück die Nachtseite des Bewusstseins, untermalt von den Métamorphoses nocturnes von György Ligeti. Im zweiten Stück taucht Alex Blondeau in die Nacht ein, sucht einen Weg, der von der Dunkelheit ins Licht führt. Im dritten Stück erkunden schließlich drei Tänzer ihre männlichen Biografien, eingefasst von Wut, Brüderlichkeit und Härte, besänftigt durch die Songs Leonard Cohens.

Ben Aïm brothers are all this at the same time: About twenty creations, twenty years of collaboration, artistic complicities from all backgrounds, and more than 800 performances. The duo presents two female solos and a male trio, brisk and intimate choreographies, sometimes bordering on trance. First round: Léa Lansade dances on fanciful compositions from György Ligeti. Second roud: Alex Blondeau, who performed in Maguy Marin’s and Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker’s plays, deploys his ardor in the night. Third, coarser round: three men fight against an adversity, softened by Léonard Cohen’s music.
